Help me give my students math resources to develop skills that will support their academic success. My students are hands-on so being able to explore activities that will challenge them in this area is very important.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are dreamers, creators, and aspiring world-changers. They are unique in their diversity, their work ethics, their life experiences, and their abilities. They are the evidence that all children regardless of their cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds can learn.
I am honored to be called their teacher.
It is not something that I take lightly. Every day, I have the opportunity to help shape the minds and consciences of young individuals and I am grateful for this community of donors who reach out to children that are in need of great support. Our children including my students deserve the best. They rock my world!
I enjoy seeing my students interacting with one another while discovering new concepts. It literally brings a smile to my face. They are so eager and willing to learn! They love math as well as exploring new sets of skills. Truly, they are amazing.
My Project
These math resources will help my students get a better grasp of their learning and deepen their knowledge. These materials will also provide them with ample opportunities to cooperate with their peers while working in their small groups during their math rotations period. My students will achieve a sense of autonomy and confidence which are key components to build a great classroom community.
I cannot wait to see all 16 students being fully engaged in cooperative learning using different sets of skills to solve tasks from the simple to more complex.
It is very exciting and my students are ready for it.
