A Desk for Every Learner

Help me give my students a comfortable and supportive learning space with individual desks designed to meet their unique needs. In our classroom, these desks will promote independence, improve focus, reduce distractions, and help every student feel confident.

My Project

My students are incredible children with diverse learning needs who thrive in a self-contained adaptive classroom. They work hard every day to develop academic, communication, social, and independent living skills that will help them become more confident and successful both in school and in life. Every accomplishment—whether it's writing their name independently, completing a math activity, communicating a need, or participating in a group lesson—is a victory worth celebrating.

Our classroom serves students with a wide range of disabilities, and many benefit from structured, individualized learning environments.

Having desks that are appropriately sized and designed for focused learning would make a tremendous difference in their daily success. Individual desks provide each student with a personal learning space where they can better manage sensory needs, minimize distractions, and participate in lessons with greater independence. Currently, our classroom furniture does not fully meet the needs of our learners. New desks would allow us to create flexible learning stations for small-group instruction, one-on-one intervention, independent work, and hands-on activities. A dedicated workspace also helps establish routines, encourages responsibility, and gives students a sense of ownership and belonging in their classroom.

Your generosity will do more than provide furniture—it will provide opportunity. Every desk will become a place where students build confidence, celebrate milestones, practice life skills, and discover that they are capable of achieving great things. For many of my students, success comes through consistent support, patience, and an environment designed with their unique needs in mind.

Thank you for believing in my exceptional learners and investing in a classroom where every child is valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. Your kindness will create lasting opportunities for students who deserve every chance to learn, grow, and shine.
