My Project

My students are kind, curious, and eager to learn, and I strive to create a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and excited each day. We spend much of our time learning together on the carpet, so having a comfortable, calming space is essential for focus, collaboration, and building a strong classroom community.

My goal is to create a structured, engaging learning environment that supports academic growth while also developing important social and emotional skills such as collaboration, independence, and self-regulation.

I want my students to feel confident in their abilities and equipped with skills they can use both in the classroom and in everyday life.

The materials in this project will help support both academic and social-emotional growth. Everyday supplies like pencils, erasers, and dry-erase markers ensure students are always prepared to learn. Hands-on manipulatives such as number lines will strengthen foundational math skills, while STEM toys like magnetic tiles and building bricks will encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork during indoor recess.

Additionally, a classroom carpet, flexible seating, fidgets, and organized storage solutions like rolling carts and file organizers will help meet the diverse needs of my students by promoting independence, focus, and accessibility. These resources will allow every student to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to succeed.
