Our school is nestled in Kent , tucked away in a beautiful urban neighborhood full of so much life, character, history and language, as well as culture. As a result, this quaint little community has bred a generation of creative, inquisitive, sincere and thoughtful students.
Students seek equity, love, guidance and a safe haven to learn without prejudice.
They are eager to immerse themselves in an equitable learning environment in the hopes of one day overcoming adversity, while still remaining true to themselves in the process.
My Project
Seattle, Washington is home to thousands of acres of parkland which is conveniently surrounded by crystal bodies of water, evergreen mountains and plush forests. An area of tremendous economic growth and academic potential across all grade levels. However, with all of the beauty that Seattle has to offer, it also has a lot of cold days and harsh winters.
Sometimes temperatures can reach below the 30´s making it hard for students to concentrate in class.
They are so cold that they are literally doubling and tripling up on layers while shivering at their desks. Also, since the heating and air conditioning is regulated by one central location, it may not always register consequently leaving us to fend for ourselves. Thus, the purchasing of a few heaters would allow the students to warm up and pay attention to the lesson.
