My students need an area rug because without it, they will be forced to sit on the cold hard wood floor during story time. They also need individualized mail boxes for important take home assignments as well as news letters and bulletins. Furthermore, they will also benefit from the biographies of important historical figures in the United States, which will be a great supplementary resource for their history and social studies projects. Individual dry erase boards and markers will be a great asset as well during math instruction when students are asked to individually solve problems or work in pairs.
