My Project

I am moving from kindergarten to first grade next school year and need a new classroom rug for my students. This rug will be where we build community and learn so much throughout the school year. We will spend so much time gathering here and I hope to make it a warm, cozy space. The rug is perfect with the alphabet outline; making it not just a place to sit but also a tool to use during phonics lessons and games.

I look forward to my students being excited to join their friends on this rug daily.

I would also like to provide my first graders with chair pockets that will help them organize and keep track of their school supplies. This will keep our room looking clean and cozy and will teach the students responsibility.
