My students need a computer to use in the classroom.
A classroom without computers! Right now this is the current situation for my students. Please help us join the 21st century and get a computer we can use to help us learn!
My 28 second grade students come from all over the world representing over ten different countries and languages.
Over 85% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. We are part of a charter school which serves refugee, immigrant, and neighborhood students. My students are eager to learn and deserve the resources needed to help them achieve their goals.
A computer in the classroom would allow my students to practice and develop skills, as well as to learn about new topics and gain new information. With a computer, students can practice math skills, reading, writing, and research using the Internet. For such a diverse group of students, ranging in academic levels and speaking different languages, a computer will allow each child to have resources which meet their individual needs. A computer will also help us join the 21st century through blogging and connecting with other classrooms around the world.
Having a computer in our classroom would allow each student to develop, master, and gain new skills.
With a computer in the room, students will be engaged in their learning and develop skills they need. Please help us create a culture of learning and provide a resource for a group of students who are eager to learn!
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
