My class of 3rd graders come eager each day to learn and grow. They begin each day reciting our school affirmation working towards "gaining the academic foundation and ambition to earn a college degree." Our school serves students from Chicago's Southside neighborhoods with over 85% of students qualify for free and reduced lunch. My students are eager to learn and gain new experiences, but often time are limited by the resources available in their homes and at school. These students deserve to have the opportunity to gain rich learning experiences to feed their growing minds.

About my class
