For students to succeed today, they need more skills and knowledge than ever before. I will be switching to fifth grade next year, teaching a group of enthusiastic students with a wide variety of needs and learning styles.
We are a small, isolated, island community with roughly three thousand people, consisting of various socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
My Project
The students had a year with little structure. Transitioning back to the classroom is going to be difficult for many. Flexible seating allows students to be comfortable and more able to focus on the learning at hand. To improve the flexible seating that I have, I am asking for Balance Ball Chairs and Cubbies. The chairs will help keep the students engaged and the cubbies will give them a place to store their materials to create an organized classroom.
The donations to this project will improve our creative learning environment and help my students transition back to learning.
