This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work with a bunch a wonderful kindergarten and 1st-grade children who live in a high poverty/low-income area. They also have some emotional and behavioral needs.
My students love coming to school even on a hard day.
I want to be able to provide them with smiles that way they can learn and grow.
They deserve to be happy and be able to learn in a fun and loving environment. I want them to be able to do whatever they want in life and the only way they can do that is to have what they need to make it.
My Project
My students are not allowed to use the water fountains at my school due to spreading germs for COVID-19 so I am trying to provide my students with their own water bottles. Also since lunch is going to be very early I would like to be able to provide them with a small snack.
My students love Goldfish and water!
My students also need to practice their writing and what better way to save paper is to use a dry erase board. They can see their progress right in front of them as they write and if they make a mistake they can erase it quickly.
