My Project

Welcome to Our Kindergarten Classroom!

Hi!

My name is Elizabeth Howell, and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten this year. I recently moved to a new school and have been working hard to create a welcoming, safe, and engaging classroom for my students. Preparing my new classroom has been a labor of love, with countless hours spent cleaning, organizing, decluttering, and setting up a space where every child can feel comfortable and ready to learn.

One of the biggest needs in our classroom is a new classroom rug. Our current rug is very old, worn, and difficult to keep clean. A new rug would provide a fresh, inviting space where we gather each day for morning meetings, story time, lessons, and collaborative learning. It is truly the heart of our classroom, where my kindergartners will build friendships, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.

I am also requesting Clorox wipes to help keep our classroom clean and sanitized. With young learners, maintaining a healthy classroom is essential, and these supplies will help us provide a cleaner environment for everyone.

Finally, I am hoping to stock our classroom with snacks for my students. Many of my children rely on free school breakfast and lunch and may not have a snack to bring from home. Having snacks available means no child has to try to learn while hungry. A simple snack can make a big difference in helping students stay focused, energized, and ready to learn throughout the day.
