My Students
I teach two classes of amazing, creative, thoughtful fourth grade students. I teach literacy skills, science, and social studies to 37 students. The fourth graders are kind, hardworking, and artistic. They are careful thinkers and enjoy discussing texts and sharing their ideas. Our school is our learning community. We focus on teamwork, helping others, and the value that kindness and care towards others is important. I am grateful, my students are thankful, and my classroom is able to have such quality materials thanks to caring, generous donors!
My Project
This storage cabinet filled with cleaning supplies will help our classroom prevent germs from spreading! When the classroom is clean, it is healthier for the students and lessens absences. The Lysol spray, wipes, and dusters will keep surfaces clean, the mop will clean spills from breakfast on the floor, and the air purifiers will clean the air (especially during the winter when the windows stay closed!). The air purifiers will make a tremendous impact on their air quality during cold and flu season! Hand sanitizer is used daily in our classroom, so it is always helpful to have a good supply. These supplies will make a huge difference in our classroom! A clean classroom is a healthy classroom!
