My students are creative thinkers and enthusiastic learners. Students enjoy learning and working in small groups. It allows students to communicate ideas, respect and value other opinions, and practice essential skills. My school supports and encourages Academic Choice, Learning Stations, and differentiated instruction. While teaching students differentiated lessons in small groups, students collaborate on math and reading projects. Students enjoy using math manipulatives such as dice and place value counters instead of worksheets. Students like centers because they are interesting, fun, educational, and support skills taught in class.
