First-grade students love to learn and play. They are active, curious, and eager to learn skills to help them be successful students and friends. Some students in my class have experienced homelessness and come to school with many needs other than academics. These students come from all different backgrounds and skill levels and lack the skills to stay healthy. Students may not have the supplies to keep clean. My students need cleaning supplies to help them stay healthy so they are able to be at school and do their daily lessons without worry about getting sick.
My students play hard at recess and need extra supplies to help keep germs away and with flu season just starting having disinfecting wipes will help remove the germs from our classroom.
My students love to play in the dirt and on the outside play structures at recess. With the whole school using the play structure they contain a lot of germs. Having these supplies will help my students be more aware or washing their hands and keeping themselves germ free.
My Project
With flu season among us, my students are needing cleaning supplies to help keep the classroom clean and all students healthy. My students need disinfecting wipes to clean their work area daily to make sure it is clean and germs are not spreading.
When students have disinfecting wipes and hand soap to use daily it promotes cleanliness and a desire to stay healthy so that students are in class everyday.
Having swiffer pads will help us clean up any spills or mud that comes in from recess. All the cleaning supplies will help my students be healthy and happy to be at school. Learning to have a clean environment also helps students be aware of things that could be cleaned at home to help them stay healthy.
