Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since this pandemic started, most of my students' families are struggling financially to give them what they need in order to succeed. I have been trying my best to buy things for my classroom, but also struggle as well. I am asking for soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and cleaning supplies so that my kids can learn in a healthy environment. My special education students come to school eager to learn but sometimes germs get the best of us! It is so important for my special education students to be in school and getting sick because of germs happens because we do not have the correct supplies to keep our room clean. At the time, I have no cleaning supplies to ensure their clean classroom and safety as well as mine. All of these supplies will benefit us by keeping our classroom clean and ourselves healthy. Having these supplies is so crucial for their learning and their health as well as mine.
