A Classroom Printer to Connect Process and Product!
Help me give my students a classroom printer so they could connect the technology they are integrating in the classroom to a tangible product.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students can best be described as creative, inquisitive, and extremely bright! Every student brings a unique story into the classroom, and some days bring more challenges than others. The one thing that is always clear is their eagerness to be in a classroom where they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable enough to learn.
If you walk through our classroom you will see students working in a comfortable nook, collaborating with their peers on a project, or eagerly sharing out their thoughts and strategies during a class discussion.
They love a challenge (especially science!) and they thrive on opportunities where they can be creatively free in their school work.
My Project
My third graders are very eager to learn and try new things, especially when they get opportunities to show their learning through engaging and unique ways. They have shown growth in their own mindset - sharing their ideas, pushing themselves to work beyond their limits, and collaborating on projects with peers.
Integrating technology into our daily curriculum has been a consistent part of my students' growth.
For example, students log on to Google Classroom daily to complete their assignments. This can range from publishing their final writing pieces to applying reading skills through graphic organizers. There are also many times when students have group projects in class that can be best captured through pictures. Soon, my third graders will be doing research projects, which will include typing their reports, adding photos with captions, and creating Google Slides presentations.
In all of these instances, having an Epson Expression printer will allow my students to take ownership of their work. We will also be able to print and display pictures of the fantastic work that goes on in our class every day. Adding this printer will support the process that students engage in on a daily basis by bridging their learning with their final product!
