My Students

My students are full of love and energy. We are a school in a beautiful rural setting in Northeast Georgia. I live in the district that my school serves and could not have chosen a better place to build the homes that I have lived in. Our students come from a variety of homes, including low income and upper income.

Some of my students come with plenty of food in their stomachs and lunch boxes, while others do not.

They are all excited to be at school and learn.

My Project

My students are learning 21st century technology skills. A Chromebook for my class will assist in my effort that every student will have a device. We use them for math, research, and reading.

On a daily basis, my students will choose a Chromebook over a laptop or desktop.

Often, there are not enough to go around for every student. If this is funded, it will help in my efforts to get every student in my class a device that they can use at school.

Chromebooks are easy for my students to carry and mange, and they simply love them! Having this new device in our classroom will greatly increase my students access to all the various sources of information available to them via Internet. Not only can we access websites, curriculum resources, and technology pieces that were previously unavailable to us, but we will be able to access these with the latest technology. No longer must we wait for the technology to catch up, but we will have some of the best.
