Help me give my students magnetic letter tiles, class sets of grade-level books, and other high-interest books to help increase their love for reading.

My Students

My students are in a Title I school where more than half of them are from low-income households. These students are hard-working, determined, resilient, and love being in school where they are learning to be better readers and preparing to be productive citizens in the community.

These students have been highly impacted by COVID-19 since they missed out on 1st grade foundational reading skills.

My Project

These magnetic letter tiles, classroom sets of books, and other high-interest books will help engage and encourage a love of reading for my students! I want my students to be actively involved during class read-aloud time by each student having a copy of the book and following along or reading with me as we read the stories.

By donating to this project, you will not only help promote and encourage a love of reading to my students, but you will also be helping my students by preparing them to be an adult who can think!

I have seen how good, engaging books can increase a child's love for reading and I hope the addition of these books will help their love for reading grow even more!
