A Chance for Every Child to Learn

Help me give my students classroom resources and supplies that will make a huge difference in how they learn as well as what they learn.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching 3rd grade is the most exciting and most fulfilling assignment that I have ever had. The best part is when I see the ah ha moment on their faces when concepts are understood.

My goal is to reach every child where they are in their learning.

With the vast number of my students performing below the grade level or new to learning English, the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card is always useful for differentiation of instruction, small group activities and project based activities. Additionally, the colored pencils will be used for an assortment of activities in reading, writing and language arts. They will draw pictures related to their spelling words, bring stories to life with pictures, and show understanding of words.

The spinning wheel will be used to play vocabulary, spelling and comprehension games to cement their knowledge. Also, the dry erase markers will be used as part of our daily routine to complete word work activities, and play games in small groups or whole groups.

The laminating machine and pouches will be used to laminate high frequency word cards to be used to practice saying, spelling and understanding words at home. They will also be able to use the dry erase markers to trace the words to practice spelling and hand writing.

Help me make my goal a reality and my students learning fun, engaging and specific to how they learn.
