My Project

My class does have a carpet big enough for everyone to sit on. We only have space for 16 out of our 24 students to sit on our current rug. We spend about 30-45 minutes a day sitting on the rug a day. This new rug will allow for a little more space between students and for all 24 students to have a place on the rug. We use the rug when do letter flashcards, trick words, and high frequency words. We will also use the rug later in the year when we use our Boom Wackers for music.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
