This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello there!

Our team is requesting a new camera to document our team's journey through our robotics competition season.

We love to take photos of our team as we compete as well as document all the stuff we do as a team: mentoring younger students, volunteering, team bonding activities and showcase our talented members in spirit, mechanical & electrical engineering, design and programming.

We need to market our team to the public to garner their interest. The photos taken aid in our team's public speaking and presentation skills. Communication is a critical skill in the STEM field.

And, we need more button supplies to network with other teams as well as to create mementos of our team of our season. Plus, some purple duct tape doesn't hurt to fix up the robot.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
