Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Not all students learn in the same way. Some are auditory learners, some learn by doing, and some are visual learners.
My students come to school every day with a positive attitude ready to learn.
They greet me in the morning with a smile on their face and a firm handshake. We think of our school as a second home for our students. We provide a safe and encouraging environment where all our students know mistakes make your brain grow!
My Project
These materials will make a huge impact on my students learning because they will capture my students attention and help my students see themselves in books.
I have chosen a variety of multicultural books which will be perfect for my diverse group of learners.
I hope that these books will help my students see that even though we are all different, people are actually very similar inside. These books will help my students develop character and learn important life lessons, and the bookshelf will help us keep the books in one place.
I want to fulfill their interests and curiosity and challenge them to become stronger readers and critical thinkers.
