Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very special, they are all very talented and are eager to learn. Our classes serve students with a range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disabilities. This makes it a little bit harder for them to grasp the knowledge at their grade level. The students live in a rural area, the majority of them are English Language Learners. They are all willing to go the extra mile to accomplish their goals.
My Project
The colored printer will help the students comprehend the assignments by adding color to their vision. The students will be able to concentrate when it comes time to writing by color coding the words (starter words, adjectives, verbs, and nouns). They will also be able to enhance their use of technology.
The students will take advantage of the ball chairs by helping them to concentration on the tasks they are asked to do and also help them improve their posture.
This ball chair will help them by taking away the need for running or walking around the classroom. This will make a difference for the students learning.
