My Students

Our kids are readers! They love to read and learn new things all the time. They are smart, they are engaged and they ask questions.

We have Brain Boosters at our school, and the kids love it!

I am the school Librarian, I see all 623 students, Kindergarten to 5th grade!

My Project

Our library is 36 yrs old! It has never been updated! We serve 623 children from Kindergarten to 5th grade.

I have gone to Savers and bought shelves and stools and painted them, I have borrowed bean bags, chairs, and rugs from other class rooms...WE would love to have our own welcoming fun reading center!

Research has shown making the library into a fun, interactive, safe place to read boost reading scores!!! Making your library the heart of the school, making your library like a home will give children a safe place to come read, imagine, explore and learn!
