My Project

Teaching kindergarten has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I feel so grateful to finally be starting my first year in the classroom. I love that every day is filled with curiosity, creativity, and those exciting “I did it!” moments as my students learn and grow. Each item on this wishlist will help create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, supported, and excited to learn.

One of my biggest hopes is to replace our classroom rug.

The rug currently in my classroom is very worn, stained, and falling apart—to the point that you can hardly tell what the original colors were. Since kindergarteners spend so much of their day gathered on the rug for morning meetings, read-alouds, lessons, and community-building activities, having a clean, colorful, and comfortable space would make such a difference.

The rest of the items on my list will help provide hands-on learning experiences, keep our classroom organized, and give my students the tools they need to learn, explore, and thrive every day. Thank you so much for supporting my students and helping me create a classroom where they can feel safe, excited, and ready to learn.
