It is hard to describe a typical day in my classroom because I like to mix it up a lot! It is my goal every year to challenge and engage students in a variety of ways, especially through projects and real-world examples.
My students come from all different backgrounds and it is really interesting to see them all learning together and from each other.
My students are honors students, so I have to always find new ways of keeping them challenged and engaged.
My Project
Safety is the number one priority. Schools and teachers are working hard and doing everything they can to make a safe learning environment. Our school is investing a lot in safety measures already, but I know this is an area that donors can help out with. Classrooms don't always have the greatest ventilation and an air purifier will help reduce dust, odors, pollen and bacteria that affect us all. This purifier will benefit students for years to come.
In addition to masks and social distancing, maintaining clean air quality is essential.
Hopefully, this purifier and replacement filters will help us to stop thinking so much about the air we are breathing, and help us to focus on academics. A new air purifier and filter will help us all breathe a little easier!
