My Students

My Pre-K students are very diverse. Some of my students are typically developing and some of them need some extra help in order to be successful in the classroom. The students love the classroom and they come in daily ready to learn and play.

Each day the students arrive in the classroom, excited and ready to see what the day entails.

They enjoy seeing their peers as well as their teachers. We work hard to make our classroom a family. We strive to work together as a team and to help each other out when someone is down and the students do a good job of helping a friend feel better.

My Pre-K students are eager to learn new things. They have a great imagination and are so creative with their art. They use our toys, manipulatives, and art supplies daily to expand their world of knowledge and show what they are capable of doing because in our classroom anything is possible.

My Project

Our classroom uses book every day. We use them for reading stories during group as well as in our centers. The children love to look at them and decipher what is on each page. They enjoy telling what they think happens in the story. I am asking for fifty-one new books for our classroom.

Each child is expanding their vocabulary and general knowledge every time they open a book.

They learn new words, they learn to read a picture and understand what is happening, and they learn how to handle books and pages. These critical skills are milestones in a young child's life, in order to be successful in the world.
