Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students come to class every day with bright smiles, big imaginations, and a genuine excitement to learn. They support one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and inspire me to create a classroom where they feel safe, valued, and motivated. For this coming school year, I would like to create a boho theme for my students.

The rainbow boho theme is perfect for an elementary classroom because it blends calming, natural tones with joyful pops of color, creating a space that feels both peaceful and inspiring.

It fosters a warm, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to learn every day.

The two boho pillows will transform our classroom library into a cozy reading nook where students can relax and dive into books, helping them build stronger reading habits and a lifelong love of stories. The boho affirmation wall décor will surround them with daily reminders that they are capable, important, and ready to achieve great things—boosting their confidence and growth mindset. A desk writing items organizer will keep our supplies neat and accessible, allowing students to stay focused and spend more time writing instead of searching for materials. The gel pens will make writing and note‑taking exciting, encouraging creativity and pride in their work. They will be incorporated into projects as a special reward—students will be eager to show their best effort so they can use the pens to highlight titles, headings, or important parts of their assignments. For elementary students, this small incentive is both fun and motivating.
