My school is full of multicultural events throughout the school year. My parents and students work hard to maintain their culture. Parents have various ethnic backgrounds and families from India, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Korea. My parents are supportive, respectful, and helpful. I have student families who greatly value the quality of education for their child and appreciate the time and effort put in.
My students LOVE to read, write, and create.
They are bright children with great motivation who come to school everyday ready to learn. They have a great desire to succeed. We do this by displaying their work nicely on the walls for a positive classroom environment. The students at my school are friendly, encouraging, and helpful to others. They are curious about the world around them. I have student jobs for each of my students to encourage independence.
In the classroom, we would put the supplies to great use. I would GREATLY appreciate your support and generosity towards my classroom supplies. Thank you so much!
My Project
After this challenging and unique school year (home learning), I'd love to work on improving my classroom for the students. I have asked for some positive and educational big books from Lakeshore! My students will be working on fractions and improving their skills. I also value maintaining a positive environment for the students and respecting themselves and each other. Teamwork!
At Lakeshore, I have asked for some flex seating chairs because my students LOVE reading around the room.
I call it: "Library DEAR" (Drop Everything And Read). I have a place I could put them, where the students could take them out and put them away, as needed. I know they would like a change from sitting at their desk.
My students need some birthday cheer! I love celebrating birthdays in the classroom! Students write letters to each other and are allowed to share allergy-aware treats. The students would LOVE wearing the birthday bracelets and sticker badges from Lakeshore. The birthday pencils always bring a smile to their faces.
My students are so respectful and appreciative. I would love to provide these items for them, if possible. Thank you SO much for considering to help us!!
