A Better Way for Students to Use Watercolors!

Help me give my students a better way to work with watercolors in a environmentally friendly way. Using the Blick liquid watercolors and the Richeson Neatness Jar Tray Set students will have fresh colors every time they paint.

My Students

Many of my students don't always have art materials at home. This makes art at school even more important than usual. School may be the only place where they get to explore their creativity and use materials such as watercolors.

They are so excited to do art and I want to make sure I have the supplies that will encourage them to experiment, create, and find the joy in art.

My Project

Students love painting and expressing themselves creatively. Regular watercolor trays are discouraging as after one or two uses the colors are mixed and muddied. With these re-usable jars and liquid watercolors students will have vibrant and fresh colors to use with each and every painting.

Students will love getting fresh paints each time.

The students will also be proud of helping the environment by using these refillable paint jars instead of going through several pan watercolor sets each year.

I am a brand new art teacher this year after seeing many ruined watercolor sets in the supply closet, I decided to look for a better way to bring the watercolor experience to students in a sustainable way.
