This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with a bunch a wonderful kindergarten and 1st grade children who live in a high poverty/ low income area. They also have some emotional and behavioral needs.

My students love coming to school even on a hard day.

I want to be able to provide them with smiles that way they can learn and grow.

They deserve to be happy and be able to learn in a fun and loving environment. I want them to be able to do whatever they want in life and the only way they can do that is to have what they need to make it.

My Project

Please help my students become more creative and able to make beautiful pictures with crayons, markers, construction paper, glue, erasers and pencils. I want them to be able to use their creativity on their whiteboards and on the paper.

I want my students to be proud of their work and I want them to succeed!

I want them to draw and label their pictures. Some students have trouble writing their letters. The yellow highlighters will help them because I can write the word and then they will be able to trace over with pencil. They can also use the dry erase markers on the board to create their pictures.
