Before winter break, our college and career readiness class would like to create a gingerbread neighborhood. This will be a fun way for students to celebrate a class tradition before the break and a way for students to learn basic design skills. As a class, we are learning a lot of life skills. Students are learning about budgeting, community service, civic responsibility, teamwork, and various careers. Creating this neighborhood will allow students to merge several of these lessons into one.
The requested graham crackers, icing, candy, and plates will help students to create our neighborhood.
The bags will allow students to take their contribution to our design home for break.
