This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The donations to this project will buy a bass guitar for my students to use in multiple music groups. In the last few years, my school has started an instrumental program. The students have really been developing their love of music through learning about and practicing our school instruments. I have been lucky enough to start out with students who really want to learn.

We need a bass guitar for our jazz band.

Some of my beginning students are starting to play jazz music. We have a student who plays bass but has no instrument. The donation of a bass guitar would really make a difference to my band class.
