Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the course of their senior year, my student shave worked hard to undergo their college application process. Most of our students are first generation, meaning this process was a challenge. To celebrate our student's hard work and commitment to higher education, we are holding our Decision Day for our college bound seniors on May 17, 2024.

Many of our students come from low-income families, thus making it a challenge and a financial burden to purchase college supplies.

Students will receive baskets that include the basics: notebooks, pens, towels, and more. These basics can go a long way for first year college students.

The donation requested on this page will be raffled to students attending 4-year and 2-year colleges. Our students will be highly appreciative and thankful for these donations.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
