This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to provide my students with individual sets of supplies on day one to set them up for success. Each numbered seat will allow for better organization and accountability for supplies so that students know they will always have a set of what they need for projects in the art room. These items will help each student have fresh sets of unbroken supplies, as well as teach them to keep track of and manage their use of supplies to maintain them over time during the school year.

My goal with this project is to get basic supplies to start the year with a new organizational system that provides each numbered seat with a box of supplies, and each student will be responsible for.

This will cut down on waste and loss, as well as provide each student with a guaranteed set of supplies they won't need to share, so they can focus on their work rather than finding the supplies they need.

My students are creative and energetic in the art room. I love seeing them create and express themselves without barriers or limitations. Waste and loss of supplies is a huge issue in the art room, and I hope that with this solution and your help, we can provide a better environment for them to be successful.
