Your donation has allowed me to provide supplies that students at this campus might not otherwise have had access to due to budget limitations. We are using this gift to make beautiful artwork that will carry on into several years of instruction here at Dobie. We have begun creating animal portraits using the pastels supplies we've been able to acquire due to this amazing opportunity.\r\n\r\nThe students were so grateful and excited at the amount of colors available to them for their projects. Normally we can only afford a small range of colors and have limited options for quality paper. Now we have access to some much higher quality supplies and opportunities. They got right to work and we are now in the middle of using the supplies to make amazing artwork. \r\n\r\nOur next steps with these supplies is to finish our animal portraits and display them for the school to see! Going forward we will have a great supply of pastels that can provide for future classes next school year. Students get endless lists of supplies and some struggle to get the materials they need to be successful. Your donation to my project allowed me to develop a system where every child was provided an essential set of supplies that allowed us to focus on making quality artwork without barriers. Students used these materials to make several large artworks that wouldn't have been possible without your support.\r\n\r\nMy students have been so successful using the box system that it is a tremendous success for cost and material retention. In a normal year, materials are broken or lost when not kept track of. The boxes allow for an easy check in system that has kept so many supplies at the best quality and from going missing. I want you to know that your donation helped to make that happen and gave children access to supplies they otherwise might not have. \r\n\r\nWith these supplies I will continue to be able to provide structure and organized distribution of materials as we continue through the year. It will also benefit students in future years as I continue to refine the system.
