My school has a diverse population with half of the students coming from low‑income households. My students are my inspiration!! I enjoy making an impact on students. As their Math teacher, it is my job to ensure my students not only are learning, collaborating and being challenged, but also feel comfortable and safe. My class offers opportunities to encourage each other. I am going to be needing several school supplies to work with my students this upcoming school year to allow them to work on different projects and activities.
My Project
The tablet is for me to use and walk around the room instead of standing up at the board worrying if all students can see. It will also allow me to see what students may need help with. I can carry this around and will not be able to write on their papers due to Covid.
The air purifier is for students with asthma and to clean the air with several students in a room.
Card stock will be used for several activities in class. Earbuds are for students who may not be able to afford them.
