Students struggle in traditional seating; at least one of their classes they will be able to choose what works for them. Not all my students are the same; they should be able to have an option. Flexible seating gives students a choice of a learning space that works best for them. It will help them communicate and engage in critical thinking. My students will also have a sense of responsibility and independence. All of these options will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning. I cannot wait to see all the things we do with flexible seating.
