7th Grade on Fire

Help me give my students the opportunity to use technology in the classroom! Our school isn't 1:1 with technology and lots of students don't have internet access at home.

My Students

Coming to middle school is a big change for students! I teach 7th grade science in a rural district, and many of my students live in poverty. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and all bring unique aspects to our classroom.

Each of my students contribute something unique to our classroom.

They all deserve the best possible education and I have a duty to be the best I can be for them! Adding extra technology to the classroom would open up so many doors!

My Project

As a new teacher, I have yet to build up the resources that most teachers have for their students. I want to ensure that my seventh graders have access to technology and can use it to supplement their studies! The students can use Kindle Fires to play educational games, do research, make videos and watch videos! The possibilities are endless and they are easy for students to use! Working in a school with much poverty, many students have limited use of technology outside of school. I want to immerse my students in as much technology as possible so they are equipped for a life full of technology!
