Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching a new grade level is rough, but when you don't have the necessary supplies for your students it only makes it harder. My hope for my students it to give them all the supplies they need on day one of school.

Providing them journals, notebooks, folders, and basic supplies will help my 64 students start the year off on a good foot.

I want to help my students stay organized and work on their own accountability throughout the year. Using highlighters will help in organizing their reading assignments and give them the skills to be successful in their educational career. Binders and folders will help in organizing materials within the classroom. Providing them with notebooks will help in being able to teach them the skills necessary to take notes in class which is a skill they will need in the future.
