They are learning the science of growing...that following the seasons of growing is important for food and their germination based on temperature. My students absolutely love that they, themselves can grow food and not just buy it at the store. They were thrilled to see that they each received their own planting tray to sew, monitor, and water. They further have asked me many times when they can go \"take care\" of their seeds. \r\nTheir learning experience so far has been imperative to respecting nature, the food systems, and caring for all things that grow. In juxtaposition with sewing, students are learning gratitude and the importance of food and nutrition with regards to our planet and our connectedness.","fullyFundedDate":1758129490395,"projectUrl":"project/cultivating-green-thumbs-for-a-greener-f/9641838/","projectTitle":"Cultivating Green Thumbs for a Greener future","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sanchez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2731986_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1657729238523","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2731986"},{"teacherId":2973096,"projectId":9466378,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support in helping me purchase math resources through TPT.
