Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These math essentials will continue to enhance the logic-rich classroom that I strive to create. This past year, my students took careful count of how many pencils and Expo markers they used so that we would know how many are essential for next year's 6th graders to be successful in my classroom. They researched the unit price of different markers, pencils, and erasers and added them to the list if they had the lowest unit price.

At the Title I school where I work, I would like to provide my students with enough materials for student success.

Writing out problems on a large whiteboard is both motivating and essential to student success as they can see all of their work in one space. Their classmates can then critique their work and help them find small errors that would otherwise be missed. I believe that the materials you are sponsoring will help my students this year and next year advance their learning in mathematics. Thank you for donating.
