This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The end of the year is quickly approaching-we have only 9 weeks left as of today, April 22. In our school, the end of 6th grade means leaving elementary school and embarking on their middle school journeys. My team teacher and I would love to have a stellar end-of-the-year celebration at the nearby park.

Would you be able or willing to help us honor these students as they prepare for the next step in their education?

We plan to walk to the local park, play an assortment of games and give away sunglasses as congratulations. We teachers will be buying pizza, but the drinks and snacks in this project will complete the picnic. Thanks in advance for helping as you're able.
