My Students

Professional Writers have the necessary supplies to create wonderful stories. My fifth graders would feel so special with binders that they will decorate themselves as their special writing journals.

We are a high poverty school with a large population of ELL (English Language Learners).

The students do not come with the basic school supplies. These writing supplies will be greatly appreciated! These are just simple items, but most of my parents will not be able to afford them.

My Project

These simple writing supplies would mean so much to us. They would help us feel like professional writers as we turn to the section of our notebook for the day's lesson. The journals would allow the students to stay organized. The dividers will help keep writing genres separated and the paper hole punched is ready to use will save us valuable time. The students will get to decorate their binders to show their personality. Our first writing project will be to interview an adult and write a report about them. We will be looking to see how important an education played in a person's career!

I hope you will help us become professional writers as we journey through fifth grade.

It is exciting to see the students light up when they receive special items purchased just for them, so that they are more successful! Thank you for considering our request!
