My Project

Our 5th Grade Store provides students with a meaningful, hands-on opportunity to learn about money management while earning and spending classroom currency. The store offers a variety of items, including fidgets, art supplies, sports equipment, games, and books. Funding will help us expand our inventory and provide engaging choices for students.

A key goal is teaching students to make thoughtful financial decisions by budgeting, saving, and prioritizing their wants.

Students will learn that saving their money can help them work toward bigger-ticket items rather than spending it all at once. This project makes financial literacy fun and relevant while rewarding responsibility, patience, goal-setting, and smart decision-making.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
