This is my first year of teaching, which has turned into remote learning for the rest of the year.
My fifth grade students will not get a "graduation" out of the elementary school, and I want to do something special for them!
My students are hard workers who have been adjusting to this remote learning process. With the news coming out recently that we will be remote learning for the rest of the year, the students have been taking it kind of hard. They looked forward to being clapped out by their peers and teachers, having their graduation ceremony, and being able to say goodbye to their friends and teachers. I really want to do something special for them to help make the situation not so upsetting for them.
I know this is a hard time for everyone, but if you have anything to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated.
Help me give my 5th graders a graduation gift! They have been upset with the news of online learning taking place for the rest of the year. They are sad that they will not get their typical graduation. I would love to make them all t-shirts to help support and celebrate their time in elementary school! I know this is not what they were expecting to happen for their last year at elementary school, but I am hoping that with a little gift, they will remember this for the rest of their lives!
