4th Graders Need P.E. Equipment to Get Out and Move!
Help me give my students basketballs, playground balls, a four square ball, jump ropes, and a basketball pursuit game so we can get out and exercise during our P.E. time.
My energetic fourth graders come to school every day eager to learn. I teach at a Title I school, and the majority of the students are on free and reduced-price lunch. Despite the many challenges they may face outside of school, they are enthusiastic and curious about the world around them. Many of them take their newfound knowledge and teach their family members at home. They take pride in their learning, and they love to learn. My fourth graders are amazing!
My Project
My energetic fourth graders love to go outside for P.E. We need more basketballs and other P.E. equipment so more students can be moving at a time. My 33 students are currently sharing one basketball. I want to be able to teach my students basketball skills and other games with use of more than one ball. The jump rope and four square balls will get my students moving. The basketball pursuit game will get my fourth graders and my fellow fourth grade teachers students out running around playing a fun game with each other. This game equipment can be used in a variety of ways for different games.
