My Students
My students are very diverse. They are diverse learners who also come from diverse backgrounds. I have students with various disabilities, students from other countries who are learning English, as well as advanced students. It is quite an interesting group of kids.
My students are awesome kids who come in every day and are eager to learn despite the challenges they may face. It is very inspiring, and although it is very challenging, I am lucky to be their teacher.
My Project
I have the best class this year and they love to write!! I am always looking for creative ways to improve their writing and keep them writing. I'm not sure what it is about the different color pens, but when my students use them they write so much more!! The highlighters help with the writing process and response to reading.
Creating writers is a process and all of these tools will help long the way. The white-out and correction tape help them to quickly accept mistakes and keep writing. The file folders will help them organize their writing and just grow as writers. These may not seem like very exciting materials to ask for, but they will help my students become writers.
