4th Grade Reading Adventures!

My students need books that are more challenging to read! I want to feed their love for reading by providing them with exciting new stories like The Land of Stories and Harry Potter!

My Students

My students are funny, bright, and curious. They are finally at an age where they can read fluently, and they are excited to explore and learn about everything they can!

My students are also very creative and they all think in very unique ways.

Each student in my class is trying to figure out who they are, and being part of their process is so rewarding.

I love my students because they remind me how amazing our world is, and how empowering it is to learn something new.

My Project

I recently switched from teaching second grade to teaching fourth grade, and unfortunately my district is not going to be able to give me many new books for my classroom library that will actually challenge my students and keep them excited about reading.

I am creating this project because I want to give my students the opportunity to read stories they will love; I want them to experience what it is like to be so sucked into a book that they can't set it down!
