4th Grade Needs the Write Stuff to succeed

My students need paper, pencils and a variety of other materials to support and encourage writing inside and outside of the classroom!

My Students

Our school serves students in grades PreK-6 providing outstanding and challenging academics, dedicated teachers, and a safe learning environment. My classroom is full of 24 energetic, excited, and enthusiastic learners despite the challenges they face outside the classroom everyday. Having grown up in an inner city and low income environment where they face many hardships, with a handful having experienced trauma, they are still eager to learn and do whatever it takes to be successful.

I have a class full of thinkers, talkers, dreamers, and questioners; all of whom inspire me to be a better educator everyday.

They are not only inspiring me, but others around them and they don't even realize it. My students are one day going to be nurses, accountants, doctors, police officers, teachers, scientists, engaged and proactive citizens... These children are our future and I want to give and do whatever I can in order to ensure they can be the best version of themselves and help lead them to a path of academic excellence.

My Project

Students will be using the items from this project to help fulfill all of their writing needs for the remainder of the school year.

By donating to this project you will help to improve the students' ability to achieve academic success!

These supplies will play many roles within the classroom! The pencils, erasers and composition books will assist with the students' independent writing. The chart paper, markers and sticky notes will allow the students to participate in whole group discussions successfully and share their ideas. And lastly, the computer paper will ensure that the amazing pieces of writing the students complete in class and at home will be published and posted, letting the students feel proud of their hard work!

The class needs supplies to ensure they have what they need to practice, publish, and share their writing. With this project being funded, my students will have what they need to reach their full writing potential!
